About me

I have always been creative since I was a kid. When I was very young I could spend the whole summer holiday at home drawing and making handcrafts. I attempted to join an art school but gave up my dream due to a lack of confidence, and forgot about drawing for over 20 years until the 2020 pandemic. During the Covid lockdown, I picked up drawing again, starting with black and white ink, then coloured pencils. I have always been an animal lover, so I started drawing animals with coloured pencils. Almost at the same time, I started learning needle felting with wool. In 2022, we moved to the picturesque west coast of Scotland, and the beautiful landscape and peaceful countryside lifestyle brought me great peace and spiritual freedom. Drawing and handcrafting fit very well with this change in my life.
